With Live SAT Online Webcast Tutoring, students and teachers utilize
the
live
online platform for group tutoring to access affordable customized SAT
Exam Preparation, Review and Tutoring.
Students
may request comprehensive SAT Prep Course and Custom Review
with Private Tutors or sign up for a section focused review such as SAT
Math, SAT Verbal and SAT Writing review.
Admissions Coaching and Consulting services are available in addition
to
test preparation assistance.
Information
on the SAT Preparation, Review, Course, Class, Tutoring
Students
should plan their preparation and review before their actual SAT
test
date. A typical
SAT preparation and review course spans approximately six to eight
weeks ahead of the SAT administration. We suggest that the
students write
the SAT once to score their best with necessary preparation and review
so that they
have the strongest
SAT scores and standing when they apply to colleges. If a
second sitting is desirable, students may wish to extend their SAT exam
review and preparation.
We
offer specialized SAT teaching, tutoring, preparation and review for
students who have learning
difficulties and disabilities that mandate accommodated SAT testing.
The pace
of
the SAT Review is customized to address the needs of the individual SAT
student. In addition, highly competitive teachers are
available to coach students who want to score a high percentile.
The SAT
measures skills in three sets: quantitative, verbal, and writing.
SAT is a
skills-based test; however, with preparation, SAT students can increase
their SAT scores.
Students can alternatively choose to take the ACT. SAT and
ACT test
similar skills and knowledge, but one test may be more suited to the
general skill set of an individual student than the other. We
advise students to
choose between or take both the SAT and the ACT after we review
students' specific academic background, skill set, and academics goals.
College Board provides official SAT questions and priorly administered
SAT tests.
HB Academics SAT Preparation and Review focus on
official SAT material, and
prepare SAT students for the scheduled official SAT.
Supplementary assignments and review material are
available to complement the SAT Tests Review.
Students can learn the SAT material and gain the skills necessary
for success on the SAT.
SAT quantitative sections will measure basic concepts
in Algebra, Geometry, Numbers, Statistics and Probability.
With
focused SAT mathematics review, students can greatly enhance
their SAT quantitative score. SAT Verbal sections will
present
questions to examine the SAT Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension,
while
the SAT Writing sections will examine skills in Analytical Writing and
Grammatical Proficiency.
SAT is frequently a pre-requisite for admissions
to colleges and universities. Admissions and Financial Aid
Offices emphasize the SAT scores and base their decisions on a
combination
of factors including the individual section scores on the SAT, the
number of times a student has taken the SAT test, and the improvement
of
the SAT scores between SAT tests.
Official SAT exams are administered during the academic year.
Many students find the summer season ideal to prepare for the
SAT in depth and review at their own pace.
We offer SAT preparation courses, lessons, tutoring and
review
any
time during the year. Accelerated SAT preparation and review
lessons may be structured and delivered upon request.
SAT
Preparation and Review are intensive. Between SAT sessions,
students are assigned pertinent SAT homework to prepare for review
sessions. On
average, students review ten official
SAT practice tests and more than 3,000 official SAT questions.
SAT students can access Official SAT
Examination Information, SAT Test
Registration, and download and take a full length free SAT practice
test on
the College
Board SAT website.
If you choose to enroll in one of our preparation classes or
private tutoring review sessions, the College Board free SAT practice
test will serve as the
diagnostic.
