GMAT is one of the most skills-based tests that is administered for professional school entrance. Most competitive schools expect a score in the 600-750 range [max 800]. The business schools recruit a very competitive GMAT performance when the student applies for matriculation to the programs.

Elmscott & Haxeleigh Team offers an alternative path to success on the GMAT in comparison to the familiar national courses, self-study guide books, and digital media short courses. Our approach is to quickly identify each student's strengths and weaknesses on the GMAT subject matter and skill set. This facilitates a more optimal venue for the student's GMAT preparation to make the best use of the student's time and resources. If the student has completed a review course from another test preparation service, that knowledge may be integrated into the program. The role of the expert teacher is to quickly teach the material that is not understood, and not consume time on the material the student knows well.

The Elmscott & Haxeleigh team designs a custom tailored program to address each student's specific needs. The content of the course can vary depending on the academic background of the student. During the GMAT Quantitative Preparation, foundational skills are discussed in the order of numbers, algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability. The Elmscott & Haxeleigh teachers follow the official GMAC publications and expose each student to all types of mathematics questions and data sufficiency constructs that will be on the GMAT. Throughout the Verbal Review, fundamental reading strategies are introduced and the best stylistic approach is adopted, because no one method of reading is universally applicable to every student. In various sessions, major types of grammar and sentence correction questions as well as most frequently encountered logical reasoning questions are discussed.
